AI is used to inspire and assist—not to independently create educational content.

Many of our resources are developed entirely without AI.

Nothing generated or assisted by AI is published without careful human review.

Every AI-assisted resource is evaluated, refined, and standardised by qualified members of the IDEAL team. Where appropriate, subject matter experts review technical or specialist content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and educational value.

Quality assurance is never delegated to AI.

We believe learners deserve to know when AI has played a meaningful role in developing content.

Where AI has been used in a way that materially contributes to a course, resource, graphic, or learning experience, we will communicate this clearly and appropriately.

Transparency builds trust, and trust is fundamental to learning.

Protecting personal information is a core principle of how we work.

IDEAL does not use AI systems to collect, profile, or analyse personal learner data.

We do not use learner submissions, assessment responses, or personal information to train AI models.

Where AI tools are used internally, they are selected and used with careful consideration for privacy, security, and responsible data handling.

We are committed to using AI in ways that are ethical, fair, and respectful.

This means we strive to:

• reduce bias wherever possible
• verify facts before publication
• respect copyright and intellectual property
• avoid misleading or deceptive AI-generated content
• ensure educational decisions remain human-led

Technology should strengthen learning—not compromise it.

Learning deserves human attention.

All submitted assignments, projects, portfolios, or work requiring evaluation are reviewed by a real person.

IDEAL does not use AI to grade learner work or make assessment decisions.

AI technology is evolving rapidly, and so are we.

We continually evaluate new tools, emerging best practices, and developments in responsible AI. Where new technologies genuinely improve quality, accessibility, or efficiency without compromising our standards or values, we may choose to adopt them thoughtfully and responsibly.
